Rachel Chang

b. 1989, Orange County, CA
Lives and works in Southern California.
All forms of the natural world inspire her works in drawing, and painting, but she specializes in realism of the human and animal form in clay. Oil based clay has become the designated material because of its various hardiness, and its ability to work in prolonged sessions.

She currently teaches art classes and workshops to young students. Which aids in her inspiration and continuous love for wild creativity.

Rachel Chang studied Fine Arts at Laguna College of Art + Design, with the emphasize of sculpture. She studied previously at various specialized schools for game design, and found her current path with sculpture from a simple project that forced her to work with clay.
